About Me

Jasmine Simone is a passionate individual who has enjoyed creating art since a young age, particularly Pokemon was a main source of their interest. Her fascination in drawing grew after discovering the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise that would inspired her to create characters of her. Soon after she discovered other properties such as Fullmetal Alchemist and the 2008 film Iron Man that pushed her further to go into the creative field of art.

Jasmine would attend College of Lake County and receive an Applied Science in Digital Media associate degree and graduated with high honors. During that time frame Jasmine started her webcomic Black Sunshine, an action/drama comic about an investigation team exposing their organization hidden history. Currently she has finished it’s first volume of five. The comic is not only a passion project to occupy her spare time, but it has been a project that has built and improved Jasmine’s skills as an artist since the start of the comic in 2016.

Jasmine specializes in sequential art, illustrations and character design. Currently Jasmine is looking for work in these fields be it permanent full-time, part-time, contract, professional or personal.
